PROCESS : SKETCHUP + VRAY + PHOTOSHOP
OVERRIDE MATERIALS
As you can see in my images with material override -the monochromatic scene- showing only the ambient illumination to see if the lights coming from the window and IES lights are enough for the scene. Once it’s ok to my preferences, I apply all the materials, reflections, etc. to the scene. I used two types of environments, one with HDRI and the other Sun settings. You can see the difference showing that volume lights on the right side of the window are more visible using SUN setting than with HDRI setting.
